Break fast~

Last Wednesday, 17.08.2011, UPM Medical Students was having 'Majlis Berbuka Puasa' which is in conjunction with Nuzul Al-Quran. This programs' aim is to strengthen the ties between the Medical Students themselves. This program was participated by students from year 2 to year 5 (since our junior from year 1 dict registered yet..hehe). Besides to strengthen the relationship, this program was also turn successfully as a result of all hard work that had been given by the committee members.

Next Wednesday, 24.08.2011 (which is by today) the same program will be held again. Hopefully the upcoming program will be participating by more students. The program started with a talk given by Ustaz 'KAMI MEDIC' with a title "Di Bawah Sinaran Bulan Ramadhan" at 5.30 pm. He talks about the spread of Islam, around the world which is not recorded in Western history. Islam has spread to the North of the World = Moscow, the South of the world = South East Asia, Western of the world = Andalusia & Eastern of the world = China. in fact, the word 'Atlas' own native Arabic word, meaning 'map'. He also told us that most countries in Western, the name use is actually an Arabic word.
Then, at around 7.15pm, all students had ready for 'buka puasa' with a light meal beforehand. After Maghrib prayers end, the students were served with Nasi Hujan Panas. They performed Isya' & Tarawih prayers together. There also a lucky draw interludes between Tarawih prayers.
